About Soqucoin

Soqucoin (SOQ) is a Proof-of-Work blockchain with its own genesis block, designed from the start around post-quantum signatures. ECDSA is removed from transaction authorization entirely: every signature is ML-DSA-44, the lattice-based scheme standardized in NIST FIPS 204, carried in segregated witness under the chain's own witness versions. Each block can carry PAT, a Merkle commitment over the block's signatures that every node verifies and that is designed to let nodes prune signature data after a horizon. The chain keeps the UTXO model and Scrypt mining, with AuxPoW merge mining from genesis under chain id 0x5351, so Scrypt pools can mine SOQ alongside Litecoin and Dogecoin. Blocks are targeted 60 seconds apart. The block reward is 100,000 SOQ, halving every 250,000 blocks, with a perpetual tail of 2,500 SOQ per block from block 1,000,000. Mainnet launched on October 13, 2026 and its first halving is expected early next year.
